Hey, my love bugs,
You might have noticed from my social media channels that I am working with a new assistant in the kitchen. Yeah, that’s right – my trusty companion, Google.
As you know, I am always finding ways to up my game in the kitchen and hone in on my home cooking skills. As such, I’m constantly in the kitchen trying out new and exciting recipes, researching weird and wonderful foods and always on the hunt for places that stock these magical ingredients. Luckily, and thanks to the Google Search capability, I am able to:
Search for niche places that stock some of the exotic ingredients I use in my recipes.
Search for recipes that inspire my recipe development process. Search for restaurants that tickle my fancy – I love visiting little hidden gems as I find that they motivate and inspire me to whip up something similar at home.
In addition to the Search capability, Google is a very helpful Sous-Chef in the sense that when I am battling with recipe metrics or looking for an alternative ingredient to use in place of something, I simply ask and I am served up with a series of handy solutions.
When I’m in the kitchen cooking up a storm, I don’t exactly have an extra set of hands, which is why I make use of my Google Home system where I can simply call out “Hey, Google! Please can you help me with…”
If you’re looking to up your game as a home cook, thanks to Google you aren’t alone. Google is ready to “listen” and ready to help.
